The Private Sector’s Center for Economic Studies (CEESP for its acronym in Spanish) was founded in 1963 in response to the private sector’s need to have solid and reliable source of economic analysis. Throughout its 47 years of existence, CEESP has consolidated its leadership in Mexico as a provider of economic, political and financial research, and as a think-tank that defends freedom principles, pursues equality of opportunities and sustained economic growth.

CEESP is committed to undertake objective, independent and high quality analysis; therefore it is regarded by decision-takers and policy-makers as a reliable source of information. These characteristics enable CEESP to influence the design of public policies as well as public opinion in Mexico.

The Center is also the advisory organ in economic matters of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE for its acronym in Spanish) and to other prime companies in Mexico, decision-takers and policy-makers.
